The optical system features a two-element air-spaced objective, with one element made from FPL-53 extra-low dispersion (ED) glass. This advanced design minimises chromatic aberration, delivering sharp, high-contrast images with accurate colour reproduction. Fully multi-coated optics, enhanced with Metallic High-Transmission Coatings, allow for an impressive 99.5% light transmission, ensuring bright and detailed views. An internal light-baffled system and a flat black interior effectively eliminate stray light and reflections, further improving image contrast.

A precision 2” Crayford focuser provides smooth, accurate focusing and supports 2” and 1.25” eyepieces for a wider field of view and versatile magnification options. The durable optical tube is constructed from rolled steel with cast-aluminium aperture and eyepiece cells, offering exceptional durability and stability.
