The Skywatcher Star Adventurer GTI WiFi Mount Kit is a highly versatile mount and steel tripod combo perfect for star tracking and widefield astrophotography. Designed for both amateur and seasoned astrophotographers, this mount supports payloads up to 5kg, providing stable support for small guidescope telescopes and camera setups. At just 2.6kg, it combines lightweight portability with robust durability.
This kit includes counterweights of 0.7kg and 1.6kg with a dual-tilt, removable rod. The built-in illuminated polar scope ensures precise polar alignment within a latitude range of 0 to 70 degrees, making it easier to track celestial objects across the night sky.
The Skywatcher Star Adventurer GTI Mount is compatible with the SynScan hand controller (sold separaately), USB, Wi-Fi, and DSLR integration. The SynScan Pro App, available for Android, iOS, and PC, facilitates effortless control and automation, while the optional SynScan Hand Controller adds further flexibility.
Powering the mount is straightforward with options for a DC 12V supply or 8-AA batteries. The Star Adventurer GTI mounts on a standard 3/8″ camera tripod thread, enhancing its adaptability for different setups. The included steel tripod adds stability, crucial for capturing sharp, detailed widefield images.
