Starizona HyperStar 9.25 v4 for Celestron C9.25 - AZ Mount - ZWO Cooled Camera with M54 Thread
The HyperStar 9.25 lens converts a Celestron 9.25" SCT from f/10 to f/2.2, making it 25 times faster for significantly shorter exposures. Capture deep-sky images without guiding or an equatorial wedge in alt-az configuration. The shorter focal length offers a wider field of view and greater tracking error tolerance, enabling unguided, alt-az imaging.
The Hyperstar 9.25 works with a varying cameras, CCD, CMOS and DSLRs, covering up to a 28mm sensor size.
This system supports various cameras, each requiring a different adapter. This kit comes with an adapter for Non-EdgeHD - AZ Mount - ZWO Cooled Camera with M54 Thread. For other options please refer to the table below:
Faster Imaging
The HyperStar System allows imaging at a focal ratio of f/2.2, 25 times faster than the standard f/10. Enabling quick imaging!
Convenience
The kit includes a safe holder for the secondary mirror during imaging.

Do you need a filter slider to use filters with HyperStar?
No, you can use one 2" mounted filter with the standard camera adapter included with the Hyperstar. While ideal for light pollution or IR/Cut filters for one-shot colour camera, consider getting the Filter Slider as it is ideal for quick filter change when you're using a monochrome camera.
Will it be hard to focus with HyperStar?
Neither easier or harder to focus when compared to other optical system. Accurate focus can be achieved using Bahtinov Masks, AutoFocusers and any software that displays a Full-Width Half-Max star value. The Fast F/ratio does make the backfocus critical, as it requires the HyperStar camera adapters to be within +- .5mm of the camera's backfocus
What telescopes can I use the HyperStar with?
Your SCT telescope would need to be factory equipped Fastar compatible, as the Hyperstar assembly requires a removable secondary mirror assembly. Older 9.25" SCTs are not compatible, and can't be converted
Why do my mount type matters?
Your mount type is important to determine as Fork Mounted telescopes require a counterweight, where as the GEM mounts can adjust the balance by shifting the scope accordingly on the mount. If your mount needs counterweight to balance then we will ship out a counterweight together with the HyperStar.
Why is the 9.25" HyperStar lens slower than the other HyperStar lenses?
Due to the optical configuration of 9.25" SCT being different, to produce a flatter field of view with less central obstruction means the 9.25" SCT uses a slower primary mirror. Hence, the HyperStar also has to be slower to retain an excellent optical performance. However, the gap between f/2.2 and f/2 is trivial.
