In short - the LR series is a great all-rounder rifle scope.   ASV H+S Turrets (Bullet Drop Compensation) This variant of the Zeiss Victory V8 4.8-35x60 T* Illuminated Ret 43 ASV LR-H LR-S Riflescope features the optional Bullet Drop Compensation (BDC) ballistic turrets for both height/elevation and windage/seite, which Zeiss calls ASV LR-H LR-S. Having a rifle scope with BDC makes long-range shooting a breeze by allowing you to determine how far a bullet will land below the vertical centerline when it reaches your target. The additional windage/seite turret in the ASV LR-H LR-S makes it incredibly easy to compensate for the wind's effect on your bullet's trajectory, which can prove to be important at especially long distances.   Fascinating optics. Reticle 43 features dots 10cm apart at a distance of 100m, making distance-measurement accurate and efficient. The angle between dots is exactly 1 millirad, which makes it super-easy for experienced shooters to quickly calculate the correct holdover point, which can be especially important at long distances. Reticle 43 is also in the second focal plane (SFP). You can also use the ZEISS Hunting App to help with calculations such as wind drift correction, changes in subtension and the bullet drop compensation that results. It should also be mentioned that the ZEISS Victory V8 is literally world-class, featuring the world's finest illuminated red dot. This ultra-fine red dot, at a fraction of the thickness of a single hair strand, results in extremely low target coverage at 3.3-millimetres @ 100m - meaning your shot will never be obscured again.   Confidently versatile.
