The ZWO 2″ LRGB Filter Set is designed for superior transmission and color separation, making it an excellent choice for high-quality imaging. Each filter in the set features finely polished surfaces and a full multi-coating to enhance performance. The filters are parfocal, meaning you won’t need to adjust the focus when switching between them, which streamlines the imaging process. They offer over 92% transmission within the passband, ensuring bright and detailed images. Constructed with precision, the filters are polished to achieve an accurate 1/4 wavefront, contributing to sharp, clear images. They include an infrared cut-off for wavelengths between 700-1100 nm, reducing the impact of infrared light on your images. Additional features include multi-layer anti-reflection coatings to minimise light pollution and a small spectral “gap” to enhance color accuracy. The filters are also designed to maintain consistency in thickness, with a total thickness of 5 mm + 2.5 mm for the thread and 1.85 mm for the optical thickness.
