    This filter is for use with narrowband astrophotography.

    Hydrogen alpha light has a wavelength of 656.3nm, and is the most commonly-used narrowband frequency. It can be used as part of two-band, three-band, or other false-colour images, as well as being combined as a luminance layer or as an addition to the red channel with full-colour filters. They are specially designed for telescopes with a focal ratio that is either equal to or higher than f/5.

    • 1.25" mounted filter for use in filter wheels or holders
