    100 Mega Pixels: Experience the wonders of this 100-megapixel marvel. The ASI461MM Pro boasts a generous sensor size of 44mm x 33mm, accompanied by a staggering resolution of 11,656 x 8750 pixels. Each pixel measures an impressive 3.76 micrometres, ensuring a substantial full well capacity of 50.3 kiloelectrons (ke). In Bin 2 modes, this capacity increases even further to a remarkable 198ke, accompanied by a larger pixel size of 7.5 x 7.5 micrometers.

    No AMP Glow: Bid farewell to the common affliction of "Amp Glow" plaguing traditional CMOS sensors. Such imperfections manifest as weak infrared light sources, often seen lurking in the corners of uncalibrated images. However, fear not, as the ASI461MM Pro incorporates zero amp glow circuitry. Rest assured that even when engaging in high-gain, long-exposure imaging, your images will remain pristine, free from the telltale signs of amp glow.

    Anti-Dew: To combat any potential dew-related issues, the ASI461MM Pro comes equipped with a polyamide heater, discreetly positioned atop its protective window. This thoughtful inclusion ensures that the window remains heated, effectively preventing any dew-related hindrances. If power-saving is a priority, you have the option to disable this feature within your imaging software.

    Performance: Let's delve into camera performance. The ASI461MM Pro is adorned with the highly advantageous High Conversion Gain (HCG) mode. Engaging this mode dramatically reduces readout noise while preserving an outstanding dynamic range, especially when using higher gain settings. Simply set the gain to 100, and the HCG mode will automatically activate, bestowing exceptionally low readout noise while maintaining the integrity of the dynamic range.

    Quantum Efficiency: When it comes to evaluating a camera's performance, quantum efficiency (QE) curve and readout noise reign supreme. Calculations indicate that the ASI461MM Pro proudly achieves a QE peak value of 91%, solidifying its status as a pinnacle of performance.

    Two-stage TEC Cooling: Experience enhanced temperature control with the ASI461MM Pro's two-stage cooling system. This advanced thermoelectric cooling (TEC) mechanism diligently regulates the sensor's temperature, achieving an impressive reduction of 30 to 35 degrees Celsius below ambient temperature. Please note that the Delta T of 30-35C is determined under a 30C ambient temperature, and it may vary slightly during prolonged cooling system operation or as the ambient temperature declines.
