The 533MM Pro Monochrome is a direct step-up from the ASI183. It retains some of the great features of the ASI183MM/MC Pro such as a high QE and great frame rate, but still improves on the design in a number of ways.
The 2-Stage TEC Cooling in the ZWO ASI533MM Pro Cooled Camera brings the temperature up to 35° below ambient temperature to maximise the signal-to-noise ratio and improve dark current. And with a no-glow circuitry, the ASI533MM Pro ensures no amp glow for great images, regardless of exposure time or gain. You'll also enjoy an incredibly low read noise as low as 1.0e, as well as a maximum QE greater than 91%!
And with a pixel size of 3.76 μm and 9M effective pixels, you're able to experience a 20 frames per second through with the 14-bit output of the Sony IMX533 - a back-illuminated, 1-inch square frame, deep sky sensor.
