The ZWO Atmospheric Dispersion Corrector (ADC) is designed to reduce chromatic aberration caused by Earth's atmosphere during planetary and lunar observations. It employs two adjustable prisms made from H-K9L (equivalent to Schott BK7) glass, each with a surface accuracy of λ/10 at 632.8nm and a deviation angle of 2°. The ADC features T2 male and female threads, facilitating integration with various optical setups. By fine-tuning the prisms' positions, users can counteract atmospheric dispersion, resulting in clearer and more detailed images.
