The ZWO Electronic Automatic Focuser - Temperature Sensor works alongside the ZWO EAF to automatically compensate for fluctuations in temperature during an imaging session.
ZWO's Electronic Automatic Focuser - Temperature Sensor detects changes in ambient temperature to automatically compensate for a shifting focal length.
Through a phenomenon known as focus drift, changes in temperature during an imaging session can cause a change in focal point.
The EAF Temperature Sensor monitors ambient temperature for this reason, and uses software with your EAF to appropriately compensate for focus drift and maintain the crystal-clear images you expect.
