The ZWO 31mm H-Alpha 7nm Narrowband Filter is designed for astrophotography, particularly for capturing emission nebulae. It isolates the H-alpha emission line at 656nm with a 7nm bandwidth, enhancing contrast and detail between the night sky and the nebula. They are not used to remove the light pollution effects or increase brightness.
This ZWO H-alpha filter passes light at a wavelength of 656nm and has a 7nm bandpass. Also, this filter allows light transmission up to 80%.
